Over the past year we have been hearing a lot about the Green New Deal. The media jumped on it when Alexandria Ocasio Cortez unveiled her proposal for the GND last February. Since then there has been a lot of hype and criticism surrounding the famous environmental plan. But what actually is the GND? What does it say? What does the plan include? Why are there so many “different versions” of it on the left? Who will the GND benefit? And ultimately… will it be enough?
